Hall of Fame manager of the St. Louis Cardinals 1980 – 1990. Led the Cardinals to three World Series appearances, winning one. National League Manager of the Year 1985. Also played with Texas Rangers and California Angels and managed Kansas City Royals. Inducted into Hall of Fame 2010.
